Armor Capital estimates a 0.15 p.p. impact on inflation, resulting in a declining 2022 IPCA forecast to 7.3%, says the chief economist Andrea Damico.
Economists calculate that the almost 5% Petrobras gas prices drop may remove from 10 to 20 bps from 2022 IPCA result. The impacts would be concentrated on July and many August numbers. The most recent market expectations point to a 7.24% and 5.20% in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
